2inno.eu – „Do Innovation Now!”
The aim of the project is to help SME Executive Directors and Senior Managers to recognise the importance of innovation for small businesses as well, and to make innovation a part of day-to-day practice.
Eighteen experienced European institutions participated in the project, and six of them introduced the results in their respective countries (Austria, Slovenia, Spain, Italy, Hungary and Ireland).
While multinational companies can employ professionals (R&D assistants, experts) there is a risk that innovation will remain inaccessible for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Today, there are many theories, tools and methods related to innovation management, and this knowledge is available to everyone. However, the question “why is it so difficult to put methods into practice, especially for small businesses? “arises.
The 2inno.eu project suggests the "DUI – learning by doing, using and interacting mode" method as a solution.
Small businesses need to learn with a pragmatic approach how they can launch and complete innovation projects in a few weeks. With customized innovation management trainings, we want to help SMEs bridge the gap between theory and practice and find their own 'innovation culture'. The motto is "DO innovation now!"
The 2inno methodology is developed by a consortium of six European institutions and involves 12 support partners. The project coordinator and initiator is the Austrian Hafelekar Ltd.
